Squadron 68 is conducting a Mission Scanner Course at the JWA Administration Bldg. on Saturday 12th March.
CAPACITY - 25 STUDENTS - "FIRST COME, FIRST SERVED" BASIS.
Course Description
Seven hours of classroom instruction to teach and evaluate the familiarization & preparation items required for Mission Scanner. Topics include aircraft familiarity, safety on the ground and in the air, survival and urgent care skills, communications, basic navigation, search patterns, scanning techniques, what to look for (aerial photos of actual crash sites) and more.
Assignments & Tests
There will be an oral exam at the conclusion of the training to sign-off on the scanner tasks, and have students qualified as MS (T) - Mission Scanner Trainees.
Prerequisites
Minimum age 18, must be qualified General Emergency Services (GES), completed OPSEC/NDA.
Uniform - grey slacks/navy polo (no flight suits)
All students must study the CAWG "Mission Scanner Home Study Course" (1) below, and pass the online CAWG Scanner Test (2) below.

All students must pass the online Mission Scanner Test and bring the completion certificate to the Class.
